LUNCH COOLER BAG,
The photographer behind the
lens of this edition’s cover image
is Visual Communication (Photography) student,
MALEENE HINRICHSEN (22). Maleene says she is a creator, believer and a dreamer: “I am made up of early sunrises and late sunsets, of morning coffee and afternoon reading sessions, of city lights and starry nights. I am made up of the places I’ve been to and the cities I have yet to see. I dream in colour and dance in wildflowers. I live for rainy days and thundering nights. I believe in creating my world for others to see.” The model in the image is Garth, a bodyguard for people, Maleene says, that cannot be identified. “He is a James Bond of sorts.”
